What platform do you use for your blog?
I use blogger.com for my blog. I bought the domain name dotchilatham.com and had it added under the settings tab. Everything else about the blog is blogger though. I sign in at blogger, post at blogger and edit the template using blogger.
Why the name dotchilatham.com? Why not bakersacres.com?
Because the domain name Bakers Acres was already taken and I didn't want to rename my blog again. It's been Baker's Acres from some time now. I picked my name instead.
Will post a link to my blog?
SURE! Let me have the link, I'll check it out and find a place for it on my blog. If I really like it, I'll post about it too!
Can I post one of your articles on my blog?
Not in it's entirety. You can post something like "This is a great article about blablabla, check it out." Or even post a few "quoted lines" and then leave a link. I check my traffic sources often and go to the page to see who is helping me gain readers. It's be a good thing for both of us!
Do you make money blogging?
Not yet. That was never my goal. I just love to write and blog and share my opinions and rant and rave and moan and groan and bitch and whatever else I feel like doing. Sometimes I use it to update my family during trips, post recipes for my friends or just post random pictures. I would LOVE it if I made money doing this, but again, that was never my goal.
Then why do you have adsense on your blog?
In hopes that someday my blog will earn a little income to help me out on my single mom quest. To date, it hasn't paid a thing! But again, that was never my main goal.
I thought you were married?
I am but we are separated. We live 1500 miles apart. We are still friends we just don't want to be married.
How long have you been blogging?
Since March 2003. I had a website before that and it was basically my blog but the site it was on shut down. That was right about the time I found blogspot which is now blogger. And I've been here ever since.
