Oopsy! Forgot my blog email address

So I had sent a few emails to my blog this week. They all came back as undeliverable. Turns out, I had typed the address wrong. WOOPSY!

Anyway, here is a rundown of the emails:

The first was about the rest of the trip to Atlanta and I'll post that one later. Then there was:

1) Clearing out house. Trying to get ready to move in two weeks anyway. Might not happen in two weeks, but I am trying anyway!

2) Cleaning out the house woes. Can't decide what is worth sending to GoodWill.

3) And our menu for the next two weeks. Darn, no spinach though.

SO, there ya have the quick rundown of it. I save my blog email address to my address book so I can't forget it again :) I was wondering why my blog wasn't updating. Heeheehee

Well, it is Lil Mendel's turn to play games while I clear out the house. We're having a bonfire tonight. Tomorrow we'll clean out the burn pit and get it ready to burn more stuff again.

Til next time

Mendel at Stone Mt

Hard Rock Cafe

Yesterday the boys and I went to lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe (yes, AGAIN!) and had the coolest waitress! Her name is Hailey, HI HAILEY! She was very very nice and bubbly and made my whole day :). She had this "stealth ninja mystery waitress" technique. We were eating (house salad, bacon cheeseburger, french fries, waters, and extra olives) and we wouldn't see her at all and then *POOF* she was there asking if everything was okay, if we needed anything, and refilling our drinks. At one point I nearly hit the cieling b/c I was munching away and I looked around b/c Miles needed a refill and next thing I know *POOF* she is next to us taking Miles cup for a refill. It's like she was psychic! Miles said that at one point he watched her go to one area and he waited for her to come out, and he said she came out somewhere else LOL. He was in awe!

OOps, I was hoping to post about The Varsity too but it's almost 11 so I have to run! Will post more later (if I don't collapse from exhaustion)

Sorry Guys!

I'e tried sending a picture of different things here to my blog from my cellphone. I'm not sure what's up but none of the pictures have posted. I'll work on it. Until then, enjoy the read!
Oh, my aching legs!

This morning we got up, tidied the room, and then headed out. After we paid for the parking spot again (we have to pay for a day, then go back and pay for the night and vice versa) we headed to Underground Atlanta. We got there too early and it hadn't opened so we headed to the Coca-Cola museum. Now that was cool.

The admission was $9 for adults and $5 for kids. You start on the third floor with a museum of Coca-Cola history and walk through the areas. There is also a running movie that explains the whole history of Coca-Cola! After you are through with that, you go to another movie room that runs commercials for Coke from 1950's to the 1980's. I noticed that commercials were much longer then. I enjoyed watching all the commercials and found myself singing along with the "I want to buy the world a Coke..." commercial. We all laughed at a few of them. Then head on out to the next level.

Level 2 was a tasting center where you can taste all the flavors of Coke products including Fanta, Barq's root beer, diet, diet caffiene free, etc. After you relieve yourself in the bathrooms (that are located right in the area! LOL) you go into another area with sodas from around the world. There was an apple soda from China, a ginger root soda from South Africa and a bitter something or other from Germany and more. We tried most of them, but the bitter one from Germany was NASTY! I went back to the American room and grabbed a Sprite to kill the taste. But it was fun trying all the drinks!

Then we went down to the gift shop. I was in Coca-Cola nirvana! It was my dream come true! If I could, I would have bought the store! Instead I chose a special bottle that you pick the cover and a machine heat shrinks the wrap to the bottle. So I have a nice souvenir(sp?) that I can move to the boat when we move.

After the Coca-Cola museum, we walked through Underground Atlanta. I want to go back and find a tour of it. It was really need seeing the street signs and the sidewalks and walking along knowing that you are underground. From there we found the MARTA station and OUCH! bought train tickets back to the Peachtree Station we were at (N1 I think) b/c our feet were KILLING us! The boys loved the experience of riding a train in the subway system. When we got off the train we found a Post Office (underground) and mailed our letters.

We hung out in the room and napped for awhile, went to the gym and watched TV until dh was ready to go out to dinner. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. They have a very delicious Bleu Cheese Burger! MMMMM! Miles got the bacon cheese burger and Mendel got a cheese pizza.

We came back to the room, watched Mythbusters and then Miles and I went to the gym for an hour to workout (so proud of me!) and then went for coffee, walked three blocks to the car and paid for the night parking and then headed back to the hotel.

We got the room tidied, got the cooler situated, dh's uniform is ironed, Miles and I went downstairs to get coffee for the morning and now I am the only one up. I have the alarm set for 7:30 AM so off I go to bed!

Tomorrow we'll check for museums and find a grocery store and a laundry mat.

Until tomorrow... or later today LOL
